Here is the Russian-English-Nivkh audio dictionary.
The purpose of the release of this dictionary is to preserve (reproduce) the sound form of the East Sakhalin dialect of the Nivkh language.
The Nivkh words were voiced by Vladimir Mikhailovich Sangi - a Nivkh writer, Laureate of the State Prize of Russia in the field of literature, a member of the International League for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms at the UN Economic and Social Council.
Correct pronunciation of words in the Nivkh language will remain the standard of correct sounding of the language for many generations of Nivkhs.We hope that the creation of a speaking Nivkh dictionary will help the people in the preservation and development of the language, teachers in organizing classes in the Nivkh language in preschool institutions and secondary schools.Everyone will be able to use the audio dictionary: those wishing to master the Nivkh language, scientists engaged in linguistic and phonetic research, foreign specialists.
